Hey guys! We're so happy that you're coming!!
Have questions? Read on!

Is there a registry?

No, since we have everything we need, there is no registry for our wedding. However, any contribution to our startup fund through paypal is appreciated. Go to the top menu and click on "Send a Gift". Also, 15% of the total gift received from you for the wedding will go to standfortrees.org to help protect our mother earth! Let's save the planet together! Thank you guys so much! Go to standfortrees.org to learn about why we love their campaign. xo

What is the wedding venue like?

Cafe Centraal is a super cool bar restaurant in Milwaukee. It has a really great selection of European imported and locally brewed beer that will make you feel like a true Milwaukeean/Wisconsin-native! Our ceremony and reception is at the cafe's outdoor courtyard (NO RAIN, please! Finger-crossed). There might be some mosquitos during summer nights, but no worries, we've got you covered, with all-natural bug sprays!

Is there a dress code?

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible (yet very fabulous), so no need to suit up! But the bride (and maybe the groom) loves seeing you all beautifully dressed, so something nice will make our day even brighter! If you prefer to be Barney Stinson (i.e. all suited up), go for it! Sundresses, cocktail dresses and shirt with chino/slack pants it's all good.

Attention, Ladies! High-heels are not recommended since the ground of the courtyard may trip you up. But if you're real good, show us what you've got!

Hotel recommendations?

Ooops! There is no hotel close to Cafe Centraal, but downtown is 10 mins away by car. We recommend staying in downtown or the East Side. Hotels can be $$$$ here in Milwaukee, so Airbnb is a great alternative! We do not have any hotel reserved, so take your own pick!

How do we get there? And where do we park?

Drive or taxi or shared ride! Uber and Lyft are also easy here. Street parking should be no problem nearby on Sunday.

Things to do in Milwaukee?

Brewery tours!! Look for Lakefront Brewery!
Bradford Beach! Let's play beach volleyball the day before, shall we?
Milwaukee Public Market! fresh local food, deli and cheese! Yum!
The Historic Third Ward! The coolest neighborhood in town! Go to the riverfront to see where we did our engagement photos. Many many great restaurants, art galleries and cute specialty stores!
Kilbourn Park. See the skyline of Milwaukee with the lake :)
Milwaukee Art Museum. One of the coolest buildings in the Midwest!
Riverwalk Downtown. Just like Chicago. Less crowd and equally beautiful!
Coffee at Colectivo cafes. Milwaukeeans' favorite. Very hipster! Try their coconut macaroons and matcha latte!

Places to eat?

Hell ya! So glad you asked (or we asked for you)! We have so many loves in Milwaukee! Some recommendations:
La Merenda. Affordable Southern American and exotic small plates!
Bavette La Boucherie. Our FAVORITE for specialized sandwich and soup!
Wolf Peach. Beautiful and upbeat dining! Brunch, small plates, and awesome cocktails!
Beerline Cafe. Maria's new favorite! Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan casual dining. Try lettuce vegan tuna wraps!
North Shore Boulangerie. Best croissant and mocha in town, in our opinion! Come for breakfast or brunch.
Cafe Corazon. We LOVE Mexican food, and this one of our fav! Very hipster and maybe a little weird. Maria's a huge fan of the state of Oregon, so she loves weird stuff :)
