If you prefer to drive to the venue directly, please be there, no later than 4pm and you can follow the directions on the Wedding Details/RSVP tab on this website.

Ceremony will commence sharp at 4.30pm on Friday, May 11th, followed immediately after with sundowners and the reception will begin by 7pm. We expect to carry the party till the wee hours of the morning so please come prepared. Since the venue is on the beach, we recommend the ladies not to wear heels. Once the celebrations for the night come to an end, the buses will drop you back to 2 main drop-off points that we will confirm to you closer to the date.

Need-to-know

VISA - If you have a valid Schengen visa then you don't need an additional Cyprus visa. Please check the requirements to apply with the embassy in your country of residence.

NOTE: If staying together with family or friends in a single room/apartment/villa, make sure your name is on the guest list on the hotel reservation while applying for the visa, not just the person who booked it.

FLYING INTO CYPRUS - The closest airport to the venue is Paphos airport. But not all airlines fly into Paphos, the flights aren't regular and generally more expensive. It's about 30km from the venue and would take about 30min to the Coral Bay Area. Larnaca airport is bigger and has regular flights from all airlines. However it's about 145km from the Coral Bay Area which would take roughly 1hour 45minutes by road to cover.

HOW TO GET THERE - Airport shuttles are less frequent to the western region which would still require to cab the rest of the way. Taxis in Cyprus are expensive.

Renting a car is very convenient. It isn't too expensive and driving in Cyprus is very systematic and easy. Small cars cost about 60€ a day. An additional GPS navigation can be very useful if you're not using your phone GPS. Check if your licence is valid in Cyprus or if you do need an international licence.

PS: They drive on the left side of the road using a right-hand-driven vehicle.

WHERE TO STAY - The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in Peyia. Peyia is a village on a hill that has brilliant weather but has lesser facilities.

We recommend staying in the Coral Bay Area which is a 5-10 minute drive from the venue. There are quite a few hotels and resorts to choose from. But you could book villas around the Coral Bay Area which are of great value if you stay together as a big group. Coral Bay Area has a lot of restaurants and facilities and is more accessible than Peyia. Some hotels we've checked are:

Sentido Thalassa Coral Bay Hotel
Coral Beach Hotel & Resort
Panareti Paphos Resort

CONNECTIVITY - Buying a SIM is like buying bubble gum from the supermarket. You'll get it in seconds!

MTN & Vodafone are the main operators. MTN offers SIMs for 2€ and not so expensive data packs. It can be readily used right after the purchase. Wi-Fi is available in all restaurants.

WEATHER - In May, the average high is 28C and the average low in is 16C in the Coral Bay Area. In Peyia it's 25C and 14C respectively.

ELECTRICAL PLUG-POINTS - 3-point square pins like you have in the UAE.
